Small team, deep expertise
Rivervbeta was built deliberately small. Four stylists, one skincare therapist, and one nail technician — each hired for a specific depth of knowledge rather than general availability. When you sit in one of our chairs, the person across from you has spent real time studying colour science: undertone theory, developer volumes, bond chemistry, and how pigment behaves on hair that's been coloured, lightened, and coloured again. We don't rotate clients between team members mid-service; your stylist owns your appointment from consultation through the final blowdry.

Priya Nambiar — Lead Colourist
Seven years in colour, two spent training in Toronto's editorial circuit before returning to Halifax. Priya's speciality is vivid and corrective work — she holds the salon record for the most complex colour correction completed in a single day.
Caden Forsythe — Balayage & Cut
Trained in Vancouver, moved to Halifax in 2021 for the light and stayed for the clients. Caden's balayage technique leans into the rose-warm tones that photograph best against Nova Scotia's northern sky.
Margaux Delvigne — Colour & Extensions
Originally from Moncton, Margaux brings a bilingual client approach and a background in tape-in extension colour-matching that few stylists in the Atlantic provinces can replicate.
Tessa Okafor — Skincare & Nails
A licensed esthetician with five years focused on post-colour skin recovery. Tessa's facial and nail appointments are booked out two weeks in advance — her regulars won't see anyone else.
